If in your first question you mean go for another colour, (anthracite?) then that's down to taste. If you're sticking with silver do be careful as there are lots of different colour silvers.
Don't believe the wing mirrors fold in, or if they do I've never seen how to do it!
Would expect it to fit in a single garage. The S1 looks wide because it sits low and the cockpit is narrow. It's also wider than the Trad Mogs. However put it next to a modern car and you'll realise it's still not a big car.
Cheers

Hi Nick The wing mirrors don't fold in but they don't stick out past the running boards, S1's have wider running boards than the other models I think. Just been up to my single garage to check (can't keep away ) so it should fit in your garage. Regarding wheel colour purely down to individual choice, John at RTCC asked me if I wanted to have my wheels Anthracite colour but I had spent enough cash already.

Thanks for all the replies, my garage is only a single albeit carpeted and dehumidified. I will be getting the decals, just unsure on colour really as I've not seen any pics of differing colours, google images was useless too! Also for my own sanity.. I presume it's normal that these cars have the odd bubble on the sills from ally reaction in paint (the grey one they had was worse), and things like edges/gaps for instance in door shuts are a bit tatty? All I've looked at have paint chips or wood showing through, roofs leftting air in at back of side windows etc. I didn't expect perfect from a Morgan, but it definitely looks a lot more used than I'm used too. Thanks, Nick

I'm quite a perfectionist so I'd be looking at a full retrim, respray etc at some point, obviously I wouldn't want to do this if there were minter cars as it would save time and money, but if they all show wear and age I'm better spending 40k and 10k making it perfect than 45k on a car that still needs 10k spending..if that makes sense.
Still deciding on the wheels, are there any pics of s1s on darker/black wheels?
Regards, Nick

Cars are for driving not polishing and staring at Although that does happen occasionally Go enjoy it while health still allows you to.

A very fair point, but they were very firm on price and I guess a bit of validation on what I paid always makes me feel better!
I hope that's for a very long time, I'm quite young for an Aero owner. 😊

If it were mine I'd drive it and enjoy it for the Spring and Summer, then decide in the Autumn what to do about the wheels and refurb of paint/interior etc.
In any event I doubt you'll have regrets at having bought car. They are awesome and extremely appreciated by all generations.
Cheers

Phillip,
I do agree, I am having the wheels done before I pick her up (also means they are checked for cracks etc) but I will leave the interior/exterior until the autumn, I am quite tempted to have both done so she looks brand new - in which case I am very tempted to do it in the full GTN interior/exterior colours but we will see!
As for the wheels I decided to give the Satin black from the GTN a go, but with a slight twist I will reveal when I collect, it should be very subtle but in keeping to the original look.
Regards, Nick
