Retro, in our defense, you never said that you bought the M3W wrecked and were going to rebuild it for your own use. You just said you need to buy parts and we all jumped to a conclusion that appears to be incorrect. I'm sure some of the comments would not have been so harsh if you had shared the intent up front.
I too over too many years have purchase totals for the sake of rebuilding and diving for a while and then selling. I never hid the fact that they were repaired cars. Good deal for me and also a good deal to the persons I resold to.
Again, I'm assuming, but usually here in the US if there is a totaled vehicle like this, there is a salvage title that comes with it. It then has to be rebuilt, inspected and approved to get a good title. But even then the good title still has a note on it that says "rebuilt" so there is no deception upon reselling the vehicle. The only way to get around the "rebuilt" on the title is to have purchased the totaled vehicle from the original owner that may have kept the vehicle and a smaller money settlement. They can then sell the vehicle without any tacking of the total and payoff of the insurance company.
Unlike major manufacturers such as Ford, GM etc, there do not seem to be any authorized resale dealers of parts for the Morgan cars. As most here have said, you're pretty much relegated to buying from MMC directly.
I wish you the very best in your pursuit of a M3W the cheap way, albeit a lot of hard work on your part.
