Like it, cracking present.
Also, happy memories of seeing "extremely fast young bikers" on flavour of the month sport bikes being pissed off about "old farts" on VFRs leaving them for dead over the mountain in the IOM by knowing where they were going...said old farts often having raced there for many years...

A belated happy birthday Steve.

You suddenly realise that you have become one of those "old farts" when chatting with a group of "extremely fast young bikers" on flavour of the month sport bikes and realise that you are talking about events, riders, and bikes that were all well known before they were even born!

But sadly you soon reach the age when a VFR is too "sportsbike" and you need something with a riding position like those fireside chairs you see in old people's homes! I remember my old 800 VFR with fondness ( the model before the variable valve timing) but I doubt I could ride it now for more than half an hour.

Yes you can see the 'broken'ignition switch on the floor by the stairs. What a game that was !😂, but the petrol pump is now all wired and looking good lit up at night
