 Yes!! A great drive over to The Singing Kettle just outside Malvern to meet up with my bother,niece and Mother for a very enjoyable Mums Day lunch. Towards the end of this my 89 year old mum announces that what she really would like is a boyfriend...OMG!!

Took mine out for a spin across the Berkshire downs, just one puncture and failed fan relay so pretty uneventful...

Goodness Neil; that photograph brings back happy memories. My parents spent many years living in Ledbury and this was a favourite stop for them when they went for a walk on the Malvern Hills.

So I was 65 today...went to see my 87 year old mother then 160 mile sprint in 4/4 to Newcastle to see my son...It's days like this when I consider myself very fortunate:everybody in my life I care about is well,I have a great company pension,I retired at 59 and have loved ny retirement...and even more money coming my way from the state pension .
Oh did I mention I love driving my 4/4 like a hooligan with the roof down in all weathers.
I am so lucky !!!!!...

The car is still looking great, Neil!  Glad you had a good lunch. My first year without my mother, so a bit of a downer today.  . Stiil, RIP, and 97.5 was a good innings.

I love her! A really great MOG am just so lucky to have custody!
Sorry for,your loss. My mum is 89 and going strong .
But lonely. In spite of our daily efforts for her not to be.
