A Pair of 8s.

Driving back from the factory yesterday I pulled into the M5 Gloucester Services for a bite to eat and to visit the butchers for some mutton... At a service area you ask? Well the Gloucester services are more of a Farm Shop than anything else: the food is excellent. If you are driving past Gloucester on the M5 a visit is essential...!

To my surprise as I pulled into the car park I found the factory Aero 8 demonstrator....so had to park next to it!

Two stunning examples of Morgan's craftsmanship...including a Plus 8 with a nice new Roll Bar..

It turns out that it was being borrowed by the Morgan Dealer in Cornwall to let 5 or 6 prospects have a go over the weekend! So as we left the two of us made a lot of childish noise by revving our cars.... The demonstrator has side exhausts and is VERY loud. Tarka is just loud.

Enjoy...

PS: Added a nice photo of the Aero Wheel, they are one of the most stylish, elegant and delicate forged alloy wheels I know!!

Tebay is one of my favourites, half-way between here and Derby.

Well, it is the same group as Tebay - used to be the only really decent services on the whole motorway network. Now there are two, err well 4 if you include each direction!
Sad? A friend and wife took his father to Gloucester Services for a Father's Day lunch! smile
