Rob Hill is an active Club member and also used to rally an Elan Sprint. The product is very good, and I believe is stocked by the factory. Some owners on TM do have the behind the seats bags.

Thanks for response Dave, yes looking at behind seats bags as well. So far can't see if the will work with Plus 8 with roll cage. Still it's early days. Do you know if these hold fish.....and milk......and tomato sauce?

I have the behind seat bags. Well built & fit perfectly. I also have a Mog leash for the bags but found another way to add security so look at the for sale section

I know some on TM who think the Mogbox is the Alsation's Accoutrements. We get by with a waterproof Samsonite. We have behind the seats bags - they are brilliant - we can go on a 7-8 day trip without a case on the rack. The Packit accessories make a real contribution to packing efficiency http://www.hillsalive.co.uk/index.php?pa...rt&Itemid=3No connection - just a satisfied customer.

Thanks for response Dave, yes looking at behind seats bags as well. So far can't see if the will work with Plus 8 with roll cage. Rob's own Zetec 4/4 has a roll bar and he fits two of his cases in the space available . I believe that you have to specify that you have a roll bar and he will make them to suit. Ever since we started using them (3 years?) touring has becomes much more relaxed, and we can pack in more stuff than previously. Colin (Spanner Juggler) is a very big fan of the MogBox.

I have had a Mogbox for several years. Not pretty but really useful. It holds the side screens and coats etc which might otherwise need to be secured inside the car. Had mine repainted when I changed the car to match the new one. If you can find one secondhand, all the better. Geoff R 2008 Plus 4

Can well understand why mogboxes are used as the biggest reason for not driving my mog is lack of space to put stuff !

Do you know if these hold fish.....and milk......and tomato sauce? Only the water tight ones. But the roll bar can be used for hanging fish to dry, some can be smoked as well.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Ken
I have a Mogbox and am a big fan. Not the prettiest thing you can put on your car, some think ugly, but boy is it useful. Mine only goes on for major holidays (less than a minutes work to put it on or off) but I really find it convenient. I don't however like the behind seat bags that many favour as with the seats fully back and reclined to a comfortable driving position I have to move the seats to get to the bags every time. Also the cost is prohibitive when I bought 2 soft 'Antler' sports type hold-all type in grey from MAKRO for £9.99 each. They are on their 10th season of use without any problems! Just a word of caution with a Mogbox, any heavy objects will affect the handling so mine is where we keep the often needed light stuff and where we put our coats and gloves etc when we park up. Not for everyone but I would not be without mine now.
