Is the service interval 6,000 or 1 year? I've always done mine 5,000 and 10,000. Will have to check the book I guess. For me, spending fifty quid on fluids is irrelevant so I have the full fluid changes done every 5,000 regardless.
Since Sept 1st have added 6,200 miles! Might get to be my best month if I can get to 10,000 before October 1st. Still in Le Castellet, we are on the track in the morning and we can all drive the Super Sport, with choice of taking it on the circuit or around the surrounding lanes. Should be fun.

Oh yes, I fully intend to get some miles on it. Have been missing having a manual car for almost 3yrs now and looking forward to getting pedalling again! I'm sure like all Morgans, it will provide a unique motoring experience. Thanks for the welcome all.

Welcome to the forum Alistair, Beautiful Car - enjoy the experience. I cannot imagine leaving it laid up for so long - a car like that needs driving!!! The year is shortening so get to it. life can be all I would like to thank everyone for the belated welcomes, it is very kind. However the new chap is Alastair - you might want to welcome him as well I have been heere for a while. I am Alistair (Aberdonian) and he is Alastair (Glasglow) All we need now is Alasdair, Alasdaire and all the others and someone will have an all time high score on Scrabble..... Welcome Alastair. The Aero looks beautiful. Wheels look nice but I would go for a nice set of Aeromax alloys.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Paul Simon didn't write "Just call me Al" for nothing. Yes, Aeromax wheels a possible change. No1 thing to change/alter is steering wheel, as not too keen on top 1/4 being silver. Either need to re-trim that section in black leather/suede or replace with more traditional steering wheel, though that would have the dubious consequence of losing the airbag.

Alastair, the last photo in this set shows my wheel trimmed in black. It isn't a big job and imho, tidies up a weak point on the Aero 8.
