Welcome Tom,
I have a '96 Plus 8 (3.9l) with single exhaust, There aren't a lot around. I've gotten used to people asking if it's really a Plus 8 'cos it hasn't got twin exhausts. I'm surprised you can hear anybody ask!

My MGV8 had a single exhaust and sounded fantastic. A soft woofle. I miss that noise.
