I feel a bit of a piker, only 3500 miles (Shared road time with '64 4 seater), chassis 883, delivered late September 2013, comfort kit added along with chassis upgrade. Break-downs, flat front tyre (Pinched tube from new) 800 miles, failed rocker arm 1000 miles, and failed fuel pump at 1800 miles. Despite the teething issues, great fun and I've always had a permagrin whenever driving it!

September 2012 build. Over 22,000 miles. Alternator/regulator, 3 rear sprockets, compensator and crankshaft, chassis upgrade and 'comfort kit', broken exhaust manifold, cam belt, headlamp due to deer impact...

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Have MMC done anything about the fuel pumps? Seems like quite a few failures.

As an old biker, I always carry spare parts when we travel. I carry a cam belt, fuel pump and a voltage regulator. I also carry enough stuff to fix a flat on a front or rear tire. I am on my 2nd rear sprocket, 2nd rear tire and 4th set of front tires. After three years of ownership, I rarely ride a bike anymore....

About fuel pump Î dont know the policy of MMC
It is not easy to have a fuel pump for spare part
You can change Only the pump not all the body And it is not very easy doing that on the road side.

I've been riding bikes for 48 years... more miles annually than in my cage. I'm shocked at how this toy is taking away my preference for two wheels over anything with 2+. I used to dread the day when advancing years would end my riding days. Now it seems easy.

Absolutely Ken, it's quite amazing until the day comes when you feel the need to ride the bike again.

The M3W is just a different addictive ride 🤔 It also requires less preparation and messing about with riding gear.

Totally agree, that's why I'm looking forward to the far more practical form of transport my M3W will offer innocent drive

1600 miles since May 2015, only slight oil leak from front cover, bevel box whine quite bad for first 500 miles then improved, also had a rev counter problem, took in for first service and new steel sprocket fitted under warranty, it's driving beautifully now looking forward to summer.
