I recognise your pain, having been in the same position- BUT - yesterday was 4 weeks since my heart attack so I WAS ALLOWED DRIVE!!!!!!
Perhaps it's the fact that I was looking at the car all covered up for 4 weeks, but driving yesterday seemed just magic!!!!
The wait will soon be over and you too can savour the look down the long bonnet and the music of the engine note!
Best of luck with your continuing recovery - personally, I feel really great, the "re-plumbing" seems to be working fine.

Adrian I had a crash Xmas eve which I was lucky to walk away from according to the police, for a few weeks I could barely move without extreme pain I made the mistake of going back to work early (understaffed).
Tale your time and listen to your body and listen to other people those close to you.
Your mog will wait for you, mine did for me.

Yes. Had a very sunny run over to Wellesbourne Airfield yesterday Sat,to meet up with my brother - and a surprise new "girlfriend" who had bought her cat with her in the plane!
