As it was my original post I hope you'll excuse a little thread drift.
I think we're almost all agreed on the overwhelmingly positive response the M3W gets, especially with kiddies. Over my last eighteen months or so of ownership I can't say it's always been the same with animals.
Met a smashing old lady just after I'd first taken delivery. I was about to leave, and she was just walking to, our local newsagent. As I started the engine her dog, a Jack Russell cross at a guess, went absolutely ballistic. Completely flipped and would have attacked the car were it not for the lead. I stopped the engine and she got him under control. She was so apologetic, said he'd never done anything like it before, not even with noisy bikes. We came to the conclusion that the Moggies "face" must have scared him, the sudden noise of course didn't help.
Had a couple of issues as well when passing horses, even at a real crawl, when cars in front have driven by, the Moggie has made a couple quite skittish. Thankfully nothing worse but it was also slightly unpleasant from my perspective because I felt quite exposed, and oh so low.
On the other hand pheasants don't even seem to register the cars existence, other than being almost magnetically attracted that is. That last point has been covered before I believe...
