Hi, Just joined and posted here after finally working out how to add the photo to my avatar.... I bought my 2000 4/4 silver top zetec in August last year, and have already notched up several road trips including a gorgeous tour of mid Wales in October, and am loving every minute! More planned this year.... Some piccies below.... Am now some way down the tweaking and upgrade path, done lots of tweaks like short gear shift, clock, mirrors, bonnet stays, engine start button etc and just had RTCC do some chassis work with pan hard rod, camber, shocks, Librands exhaust etc.... and now looking to do next stage of my plans - installing an Omex 2.0 blacktop zetec with TB's, and changing the back part of exhaust back to Morgan as Librands too loud for my good passengers...and me if I'm honest!! Loads of really useful and great topics I am enjoying already, what a great forum and community! cheers steve Moggy! Mid Wales Road Trip Road Trip to Bath Out the Garage... Goodwood!

Hi Steve and welcome from a fellow year 2000 silver top Zetec powered 4/4 owner also having put a Librands exhaust and manifold
Have you tried Librands acoustic trim Steve - it takes the rasp of the exhaust note but keeps a bit of rumble?
Great photos

Welcome to TM Steve. You certainly have got stuck into your Morgan in a big way...the engine change sounds an interesting idea!
Love that tractor by the way.

Hi and thanks all for great welcome, Goodwood was a great day out, planning to go again this year The tractor is a David Brown Cropmaster, now running but having some fun with oil pressure....thats another story! The engine plans arise from trying and failing to fit the tb's under the bonnet with the silvertop, plus a few other bits, and having trawled the various threads on this forum I have decided to go with the new omex engine and TB route, RTCC are talking with Omex to try and source the shorter Jenvey bodies as the Omex made bodies are I think now longer than the earlier ones they bought in.... Hoping to hear in next week or so and get the work done for May. The Librands manifold and exhaust definitely improves performance significantly as many have said, however I have found an intolerable drone from about 1900- 3000 rpm, which unfortunately on the roads around here is a lot of the rev range when touring.... And sometimes no amount of gear changing can seem to shift it... Hence decided to keep manifold and cat and swap the system back. I read someone on TM has done similar and found no noticeable difference in power.. Henc going to try this. Cheers Steve
