Hi, my name is Wilhelm. I am another "Talk Morgan" newbie and would like to introduce me. As you can tell from my first name I am German, living since a couple of years close to the nice, old city of Basel in Switzerland.
Since more than 10 years I am a Morgan "fan". Since then quite a few books on Morgan and various dye cast Morgan models have started to populate my bookshelves. But I am getting tired of sitting on the floor making "wroomm wrooom..." all by myself :-) So I decided it is time to get me the REAL toy.
I saw the 4/4 Sport at the Geneva Motor Show and went to the centenary celebration at Cheltenham race course. What an event! So many lovely cars... just don't ask how many pictures I took :-) The weather could have been better... but I met lots of nice 'Morganeers' helping me along with my questions.
To cut a long story short: I am currently shopping around for a Red 4/4 Sport. In the meantime I have run across a few topics where I would like to have some advice or net-wisdom from you Talk Morgan folks. I do not want to start a discussion here, but will post separate threads.
best regards from sunny Switzerland, Wilhelm
4/4 Sport 'Sports Red' (12/2009)
Greetings from Switzerland Wilhelm

Welcome Wilhelm, Red is good - Yellow is better Problem, Management is now seriously considering trading in and going 'Green' for a Millenium Roadster for me to drive her around in instead?? I would have to change my avatar and name and then who would know who I am Enjoy the forum. Lots of serious good Morgan News and Information and a few nutcases like this one.

What's wrong with red Frank???? Are you (rather than management) really fancying a Roadster??? Whoops, Not thinking!!!! Nothing wrong with Red Dave - beautiful - October in the fall looks fantastic(MSCC Calendar) Regarding Roadster, Management has now seen the car in the flesh and is smitten!! As 'Keeper of the Purse' and Official Owner of 'Lellow' she has 1st option on the next one available with about a week to make her mind up. Its really up to her to decide and I think she will go with it. Mind you I cannot imagine driving the roadster with all of that power under the toes. Same engine as my Jag S Type which pulls a lot more weight with all sorts of controls. Wooooo!! We do not have the space for multiple Morgans and with Lellow only doing 1800 miles this year and the Jag only doing 7000 in two years, I think the Jag will have to go as well. Management has plans for that. I am only the humble chauffeur after all.
