I did a lot of thinking last night. I am going to ask the dealer what the penalty might be for me cancelling the order. I just have no confidence at this moment that I will get the car I order, or that I will get it in a timely manner. This attitude may change once I sit down with my dealer, But the factory telling me I need to buy the entire bright package to get those hoops, when the whole rest of the car is blacked out, and when even I know you can buy the hoops as individual components gives me little confidence in their customer service. For the mint i'm spending I expect a little more. All i'm asking them to do is replicate something they have already built. Bespoke, they love to say, in their marketing material! Anyway, my rant is over, I have emailed my dealer to see what the penalty is if I just throw up my hands and cancel my order. I actually felt a little ill sending that one. I remain disillusioned, more to follow.

If MMC can't deliver a Geneva lookalike just remember how much you wanted your previous spec. At the end of the day the driving experience is pretty awesomely similar whatever the colour of the roll hoops and paint. Every M3W owner I've met has used the base car they bought as a starting point for their own personalisation so perhaps try not to worry too much about perfecting it from the factory but get something you like and take it from there. You've come too far to give up now

Dolph Last night's fine bourbon whisky went down just fine, SO did the Jamesons Black, which I highly recommend!
