Friday night I had just got home when the builder calls and apologies for having accidentally taken a key with him I needed. Didn't really want to do 90 miles, but arrangements made I decided on the Morgan for a roof down night time drive.
I used to do a few night drives, relishing the stillness and different sensory experience, but I was so glad that I did take the Morgan, one of the best drives ever. Nothing specific, but as the miles passed I realised I was enjoying the drive, so started taking longer and longer routes to get home. Roads were empty and the V8 singing, I smiled then and still now thinking about it, perfect tonic for a long week and a good start to the weekend.

Sounds like fun, nice when it cheers you up after something that could have turned out to be a bit of a chore!

I feel I could drive my Aero for any length of time without any omar at all. So comfy and such great fun.
Now the old Plus 8......Oh my gawd, that's another story

I've had open top sports cars since I could drive. Something my wife and I have always loved is to get the roof off on a still clear night and drive in the fresh air - nothing like it :-)
Doesn't matter if it's cold, stick the heater on (or in an Aero the engine heat is enough!!) and wrap up.
Good on you Mark.
Rob Good things come to those who wait but they've usually been left by those who got there first!

You can't beat a drive with roof down on a clear star laden sky with a moon.
