It's a funny thing Nigel. I'm really anal when it comes to things being straight/level/equal, but it wasn't until several months had passed that I noticed this. At first I was annoyed that somebody hadn't taken the time to centre it - 'sloppy' I thought. Then when others were the same I figured there was a fitting template that was off centre. But now I know there's 'a reason'- that makes it a bit better!!!!
Incidentally not all Roadsters have the front indicators lined up under the headlamps....... early ones are closer to the over-riders.

You need to measure (really accurately) across the inside of the centre hub (Roadster is 160mm) and put a straight edge across the inside from rim to rim (Roadster is 360mm). I would imagine that all recent centre hubs are the same size, although chrome wheels may be different, and the 160mm is such a tidy metric size that I'm guessing that at some stage in the past there would be an imperial measurement!!!!!!!!!
I can't remember the size of my wheels offhand (17"??), but I would be surprised if the +4 and 4/4 were exactly the same.
With a bulk order (to save on P&P), the unit cost would be 'around' £20. various colours are available, like Red/Yellow/Black/Clear. I gambled that the red would match, and it does, but also got the black one as a fall back. The black also looks really good, so I could vary it according to mood...........
For metallics and non basic colours, then the plastic would need painting to match, or left black.
Incidentally, I'm also working on a perspex wind-shield for behind the seats at MrsW's request, but like the spare wheel security device, it's proving to be a real challenge since I don't want to use bungee fasteners like the one which used to be sold in Miscellany, and I don't want to drill the car either. So I'm using the head restraint stalks as locators, but as yet it won't stay vertical. I'm having to do some special brackets..... but more of that later if I can make it work.
If successful it could be done for under £100.

Good point made by Keith, I would be up for a Wheelie at say £20. Now my metalic Crimson is on the way it would spare me the nightmare of cutting and measuring acrylic, especially curves and holes.

My wheels are 16".
I'll investigate prices for a big pile..........
I'd still like to know measurements for +4 and 4/4, but all in good time.

An order of five would get the price to £21 each. Postage individually then would probably be about £3/£4.
Colours are Clear, black, blue, green, red, white, yellow. We know that red matches Corsa. Black is an obvious match, and I would imagine yellow matches Franks car. White will be fridge white. blue & green will probably not match much at all...........
You can see from my photos that the plastic is very good, it comes with protective film on both sides and is high quality. Just let me know and if we can get five then we have a plan. But non-Roadsters need measurements taking.

Probably swapping motors around tonight as we're planning (provisionally) to take RTA to Lacock this weekend. Will try to remember to measure Tink's spare.
Meanwhile, need to get the 90 fully on road - windscreens frozen this morning - nothing like a fuel powered pre-heater for those cold morning starts .
