Dave, agree with the carbs comment- six Webers on a V-12- now that I would like. On the other hand, I wouldn't say no to a Holley or a Rochester on a Cobra- and I know I can get into one of those! Time to mug my bank manager perhaps

An update on this rather historic post as I also need to repair the inevitable chips of life on the road (and in the garage). Archie is Corsa Red, which as DaveW rightly points out is also Ferrari Rosso Corsa. I have just ordered a Chipex set, which for Corsa Red is paint code 322. If anyone else is thinking of buying one of their chip repair products, the top of the range set is £37.95 + £2.99 postage (£40.94 total). However, using voucher code 'TryChipexzc1812' brings the price down to £34.15, which sounds much better.

There are so many reds, and not all of them are the red you need, even if it says so on the tin.
Anything would be better for me than the previous chip repiars and most unsightly white undercoat.
However, after 15 years of life Corsa Red might be a near miss rather than spot on.

I wouldn't be too pessimistic - I got Rosso Corsa red spray paint mixed at Halfords - they didn't have the Morgan related information so I asked for Farrari Rosso Corsa of around the year 2000 (i think in the end it was from the mid to late 90's) I used it to spray the back of the my Cibie (copy) spots and it looks spot on (no pun intended) The chap who I bought the morgan from said that Morgan used Ferrari's paint for the Corsa red don't know whether that's true but it certainly looks the same

It's Ferrari Corsa Rosso. I got mine from Halfords as a mixed aerosol and a touch up with a brush. There are three specs, and from memory I think that mine was listed as 300/12.
If I may quote myself.......... Just be aware that there are three mixes.

When I bought my 1993 Corsa Red 4/4 it came with a small tin of touch up paint . I kept it when trading up to a 2002 Plus 8 in Corsa Red and the match is good. Unfortunately there is no paint code on the tin. Thanks for the update re it being Ferrari and the 3 versions from Halfords. Handy if more needed.

The nice guys at Chipex identified the Rolls Royce OEM code for the paint on Tarka, so I'm set up with an easy solution!
