Has anybody a special advise regarding balancing the chrome wired wheels from my Roadster? Is it necessary to balance on the car?

Balance off the car but you will probably need an adapter to ensure your splined hub is centered correctly on the balancing machine. Such adapters are available commercially and advertised in miscellany.

Also try and get them to use stick on weights on the inside of the wheels - looks neater.
