I love the Qatar 787 fleet very comfortable & quiet.
I know this is not a great photo but as dawn came up today over the Gulf I couldn't stop taking a snap of how far the wing bends.
The understanding of materials in that plane is incredible (I hope)!!

But from Doha to Phnom Penh a old Airplane.

I understand it is carbon fibre. The lightning strike photo that I posted from a friend stated in the write up that due to the inherent problems of assessing lightning damage on the 787 they have been instructed not to fly within 50 miles of a lightning storm. That could be easier said than executed too.
