Its a little known fact that MMC purchased several tons of the Liquorice used by WW2 Commandos as face Camo , by 1947 it was hard enough to make the wiper blades with It proved inadequate for many years but Instead of sourcing new rubber compound they added a third wiper instead.

Regarding wipers and screens,hot off the press Red Bull have debuted the new aero screen concept at Sochi for the weekend.Formula 1 finally catching up with Morgan or what.

I used to keep a small squeegee behind the passenger seat in case of rain. Just reach out around the windscreen and wipe it clean.

Rain X doesn't work well on a flat screen. All it does is show you how much the slipstream scrambles around on the glass. I put the RainX on the inside - it makes the drops run down out of sight more quickly.

Perhaps I shouldn't say this as it's bound to go wrong but in comparison with my previous Morgans, my current one actually has wipers that at least have a valiant try at clearing the rain. They are nowhere as good as they should be but, with all the other moans and groans going on at the moment, I haven't got it in me to knock Morgan any more. I LOVE MY CAR !!!

Mine are great on the outward journey - full of hope, very professional, spritely and excited about the work ahead of them.
Sadly, their return journey is one of immense disappointment and unfulfilled hopes and dreams.

Mine are "clear 'n' smear". Clear as day on the first stroke then a good messy smear when returning. Going to be trying the mod proposed on another thread on here a few months ago as soon as I get a bit of time.

Wipers on my 2013 +4 work very well, even in the torrential rain we had on the way down to Perigueux last w/end.
I wipe the blade rubbers with neat washing up liquid and this helps clear any smears.

Hood down in light rain there is as much muck on the inside of the screen as the outside...so wipers don't help much...
Hood up 2 of the three wipers work very well.
But swapping the blades around changes nothing, the drivers wiper never properly clears the glass.
The navigator always has a clear, none smeary, view.

The angle of your driver blade needs adjusting I had the same issue on my plus 8
