At a classic cars event this weekend I discovered a wonderful Jaguar E Type 12 cylinders. It was totally restored / rebuilt in the end of the 1990s. Looks hillaroius - but after the restore the car has only be driven for 6000 miles. What a pity!

That's only 6 cylinders, DOHC. Most regard that as a better engine... Looks stunning though (even though I'm not a fan of red). Good looking Kharman Ghia off to the left in the first photo, and possibly a Toyota 2000 in cream in the second?

I wonder how the current F type will compare in 30 or 40 years time.I suspect it may well be viewed in the same way because its certainly as good looking IMO.
