So I know that the engine is off BMW warehouse, front headlight from beetle/mini, what about the rest of the car? is it a jigsaw or are many parts custom built for morgan?

The plot thickens- if you have MWS wire wheels, it is quite likely that somewhere there will also be another sticker saying 'Made in India'!
Also, so far as the Trads are concerned, it's suprising to learn how many parts are off Land Rovers and Discos

Petrol filler cap from Yamaha m/bike and hood clips from Mazda and front side lights/indicators from Mini. I've been told steering wheel is Golf? All for Aero8 S3.

My understanding for the aero is as follows
steering column shroud BMW
Steering wheel Aston Martin
Before I sold the car I had need to replace to boot catch which I found was from a Ford Ka.

I've seen the steering wheels for S3/4 aero's on Ebay, they appear to be German made and the same as fitted to the Aston. The Max wheels are Japanese (Ray's Wheels), and the pattern is available to purchase in the US, but not in a 19 inch fitment when I was originally looking. The S2/early S3 wheels were supplied by Rimstock but made somewhere in Russia (or one of the satelite states).
From memory, the window mechanism of the Maclaren F1 comes from a Citroen Saxo!
Brake pads for Aero's are as fitted on Lotus Elise

My all time favourite: Air filter box on the Zetec E engined 4/4s is off an Austin Maestro - and turned upside down to fit!

steering wheel on some cars looks like a raid one. I believe the S2, S3, S4 and Aeromax steering wheel is a RAID item. Most people mention the Aston Martin Vanquish but I do not believe they are the same item (unless RAID also supply AM)
