My remote greasing kit arrived today from the Nipple Shop.
Had to be signed for and the postman had a knowing smile
"Parcel to be signed for from the Nipple Shop sir!"
My wife had already quizzed the order received paypal receipt and parcel on way entries on the email.
I told her that it meant I would not get dirty by going down under.
goodnight

Thanks. If this Kit supplies grease to the Stub axle zerk, I wonder how the fitting avoids being damaged by the Damper blade alloy block? I tried to fabricate such a system years ago but was unable to make it work. Since that effort I no longer use the Morgan Damper Blade system (removed it). I just make sure my wheels are true and well balanced. I have used the VW steering damper (sourced from SO-CAL RACING). But no longer use this system. Not necessary IMO. As well the Material I use for bushes is self lubricating and only need greasing about once a year. This system is being used by several Morgan Owners in the Pacific Northwest. I wish MMC would adopt this system. But hard to teach an Old Dog new tricks.

The problem with my fitting to my damper blade car was that the damper blade on full lock fouled the bottom remote fitting (which is an alloy block) and left the thread inside the stub axle. I was lucky to remove the sheared thread with a small allen key. Shame it did not work although there is nothing better than checking if the grease is ouzing out anyway, so back to lying about on the floor.

My 4/4 came with remote grease fittings. I thought I would give an air grease gun a try and it did the job very well, pretty good for about £19.

Now all I need is a remote camera so I can see when I'm done.
