According to John Merton, who is something of an expert on early 4/4s, says that chassis numbers 17, 22, 23, and 28 are all still around and predate this car.

Oopps, just reread the original post. This doesn't predate the advertised car unless the chassis were used out of order, and the MMC would never do that . . .
