I was speaking to the factory today as well and they said the Aero8 is still in production now but they are not accepting new orders. All production is being focused on the Supersport. I sort of understand given the profitability allows them to invest moving forwards but it does tingle a little as I would love to have had a year or so to save the extra and buy a new one.
Still it is better to have a strong Morgan in the long term.
Whatever they bring out next I hope it is a really forward looking model that takes the game a stage further again like the Aero did when it first came out.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I seem to remember that the Aero gang that went to St.Tropez mentioned a car being tested somewhere -- Has anybody managed to find out what this was -- was it just the Supercharged roadster or perhaps it was the lifecar with a small BMW diesel powering the electrics?????  Who is close enough to the factory to have the gossip???? Simon?????

You then need to talk to Rob Wells at Librands. He had a trad with wishbone susp on the front and some fancy linkage at the rear at Steve Simmonds place during the Centenary. It looked very fancy, but also V Expensive!!! He said it was a development for retro-fitting to trads!

Simon????? might simply be a second rolling prototype of the SS to make sure it can pass US-regulations (placing of fuel-tank needed some work)
