Back from touring Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy and crossing most of Austria. 3000 km more on the clock now. We had a couple of wet days with roof up driving. Back home it's dry and I have to water the garden...

Just back from Gower. Took the dogs to Broughton next to Rhosili/Llangennith. Fabulous weather..water was warm in the shallows. Dogs had a great time.
Stopped for a light bite in the Kings Head in Llangennith, enjoyed a nice pizza.
We decided to avoid the beaches on south Gower as it's half term and will be busier.
Last weekend we were on the annual Taffmog Wicked Welsh Weekend in Llandrindod Wells. Great weather for that too. The views from Long Mynd above Church Stretton were awesome.

Yes, in a biblical downpour including hail, with no top, just a half tonneau. But the old girl (1938) ploughed on through the torrent, but the wipers didn't! One wet driver.

Great day out today..!

Left home, top down but in grey misty & cool weather. Arrived at the factory bathed in full sunshine & sweating like a sweaty thing..

Had a good catch up & a nice lunch, and drove home in shirt sleeves...until Southam, when October returned.

British weather, eh?

But great to get out & about.

In America we have a 'British Car' week, the idea of Egan of Road and Track fame. The thought was that sometimes these cars are not seen too often. Sort of an ad hoc celebration of our motoring past. 'British Car' week really started 28 May but this weekend in the end of it. So Morgan being what it is, the 81 4/4 got driven around a bit. Lovely day, with showers scheduled for this evening.

Cheers,

Mark

At last....got Nero out for a spin. Ankle seems to cope with some trial emergency braking 😀

In spite of fitting some factory wheels, my front end shimmy is still there....so flat spotted tyres now ruled out. In fact the shimmy seems worse, coming in at around 55mph. I'm mightily pissed off to say the least 😡

I've just seen the front damper kit off....that was rather a waste of money!

I know it's a relatively new car, but has the chassis geometry at the front been checked? Are those X-pieces in the front tight?
Maybe you are finding why the previous owner did so few miles?

Glad to hear you can at least drive Nero again thumbs

A gentle 100 mile run up to Flagg Moor to take SWMBO to the Donkey Sanctuary open day. Saw 1 Morgan L44 MOR and we waved at each other - anyone on here?

Also saw a whole variety of classics from XK140 and Healey to TR6 and lots of MGBs.

All in all, a grand run out.
