Couple of silly S3/4 newbie questions… What are the two chrome finish discs/fasteners either side if the filler cap? Are these for a hood cover to clip into? If so does that mean a car with them fitted would have been supplied with a cover, or do MMC fit them as standard? Also, I’m looking to get a basic Becker (with ipod connection) head unit in my next Aero, which color illumination would suit the dash better, Orange or Green? Thanks in advance!  Matt

Matt, they are for the hardtop and no, it doesn't mean the car was supplied with one - my car didn't have one and it had them fitted (neither was it supplied with the tonneau cover from new). The dash lights are a yellow-ish tint. My Becker has about 15+ colour choices, if you can find one with a better colour selection than either Orange or Green, I'd opt for that. However, if you're stuck, I'd vote green unless the orange is very very pale.

Thanks Simon… to hold the hood on, really. You would think given the small amount of Aero's with hard tops, they would leave them off unless ordered. Ah, I'm not going near the dizzy heights of a Mexico, just the one option for colour! Anyway I’m hoping to join the Side Pipe Squadron soon, so no real need for a stereo!
