Engine oil change, is that the same for bikes as well? Basically. You've 50% more oil than bikes so there's more room to absorb stuff. I've over 23,000 miles on mine and the engine oil comes out looking like what I'm going to put in. It even feels like new oil. I don't obsess over this. If I lived in the American Southwest where you hit ridiculously high temps then I would really change it out on time. Most of my driving is right here in Vermont so bundling up for the cold is more of an issue.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Wouldn't play too fast and loose with the engine oil either. In my case, the engine oil system has been prone to weepings and leaks that have led to some scares and a little dirtier oil at changes.

That's why there are no British computers... Couldn't figure out how to get them to leak oil.

Just a quick question guys I'm soon going to replace the oil in the BB Can the oil be drained with out removing the floor pan ???

Yes. I've done it a couple of times now by removing the seat backs and the panels behind those, as well as the liner/mudguard of the trunk. Not great access, but it can be done.
If you can lift the vehicle, even a bit, I imagine you could do it from below without removing the floor panels and with more ease. I've bought some jacks to do this, but have not tried it yet.
