As far as I am aware, none have. Im awaiting photos of my car in build. Will be interesting to see if it has my lovely JAP engine in place.

If thats the case, no wonder my dealer was excited with me ticking lots of the boxes. Can't wait to see how yours looks too!

The build delays result in pretty obvious consequences for those that have placed their orders.

Are there any consequences for MMC?

No, they never minded production delays, even when people were waiting years.

The biggest consequence for me is the nice days of Michigan summer clicking by fairly quickly now, and the fact that if the pound rebounds the car could end up costing me several thousand dollars more with the exchange rate.

Well, let's keep our fingers crossed that the delay is manageable, the summer goes on and on and that the pound dollar exchange rate doesn't cost you.....

The MMC business model could be the subject of a very interesting PhD.....

You don't suppose part of the slowdown could be because production has ramped up for the "Retro" cars they are building for the US? The new law hear states that limited production design cars (limit of 5,000 per year) I believe has started. My dealer says he has a "fist full" of orders for the old design, don't know the exact models. Good luck Draggin, hope this doesn't pertain to your order

They would have build slots, i would think, behind us, because we ordered before the law changed. My order number was assigned January 20. The pound took a beating that day and I took the plunge!

A two week production delay on my week 11 build compounded with Easter shutdown left my cars arrival three weeks later than expected.

From what I can see M3W's with standard or near standard spec are being churned out though, but surmise any with some/most of the new for 2016 options may be delayed due to lack of availability. I know for a fact the rear mudguard is not available yet, despite having had one on order since before build started.
