Same venue, slightly fewer miles.
A venue worth our support I feel. The volunteers/members are obviously very enthusiastic smile

Also Hive Beach. Very soggy. Gave up to retire to Adrian and Sue's for warmth and mugs of tea. Real shame that the weather was so bad. Also irritating that the Met Office can get the local forecast so wrong, when they are based in Exeter.

Oh well, the trip to and back from Hive beach proved that the hood and heated front screen work perfectly, even if our trousers were a little soggy to start with, they were dry by the time we got home.

Another good event, and being British, we were not put off by a little wet rain. Thanks to Graham and Kim who organised it, also good to see a few Caterhams and a lone Westfield there.

Made a nice drive to the hills 40km away and found the first mushrooms of the season. Wifey was happy and so was I. Also in the southern part of Austria the weather is very British since weeks but I do not have the hood in the car, so some drops of "Liquid Sunshine" hit us 😁

Best regards from Austria

My trip to Williams went well . I drove down overnight and was there waiting for them to unlock the gates .
It was nice to meet the Spaniels .
I had my car remapped and panhard rod fitted .
I went to an old pals funeral in Bristol , on my return everything was done and I was on my way North by 3.30 pm the car is transformed , pulls great in 5th gear.
850 miles round trip home at 1130 pm . Slept like a log .

If medals were appropriate Jimmy you would get a medal for that journey in just over 24 hours.

Dave the bad bit was the very busy M6 , down to one lane at one time due to an accident , the good bit was the almost empty roads north of Penrith and the stunning views .I had the hood down for the journey back with the cool air keeping me alert .
Never saw any Mogs on the road but did follow a good looking Bentley 4by4 for many miles .

You have my respect for that.........

Two years ago we did Fort William to South Yorkshire on a one stop strategy, enduring weather from every season on the way, and by the end of the seven and a half hours we had had enough.

On the way home from work tonight someone in a White Bentley was sitting really close on my tail, I was a little apprehensive of all that metal smacking me in the back a little unnerving I might add.

I may have hit the loud pedal??

After hacking back the bushes in the garden all day I got a 45 min spin around the Chilterns.
Bliss, I do like the way the Roadster accelerates in 3rd gear.
