I was wondering, from the above photo, whether the Morgan was riding on the roof of the Freelander?  Haven't had time to read the reports yet...

I think that modified hood is the best I've ever seen on a 4-seater, not only elegant but it dispenses with the rear side screens. I wonder if they'll make me one when they get back?  ~iw

They write about how it was done in their car preparation blog.
A lot of work and unfortunately beyond my capabilities, but I do wonder if it could be a commercial proposition.

~iw It may be a commercial proposition. But I don't think they will get rich on their ideas. Hope they do well. I suggested to some friends, who had participated in Peking To Paris Races, what they thought of taking My Morgan on the PTP. Forget it they said. A Morgan is too fragile and too close to the ground to make it. One who prepared a LaFrance was one of these. Both LaFrance's I think are out of the Race. Button

I put a massive amount of engineering and work into the chassis, front suspension and rear axle on this car. The only bit they've broken that I made is one of the fuel tanks....  Simon @ SiFab.co.uk

Following the blog and full of admiration for the the car preparation and the thinking and engineering that went into it. Have shared the blog with car enthusiast mates in Australia who are also now following their progress. What a great adventure.
