I think they can do it in less than a day. I suspect the old engine will be out during the night. If they find a shop with good equipment and the mechanics come with the engine. I have R&R a +4 engine many times. However I have the equipment to do it in a Morgan. A load leveler helps a heck of a lot. Hope they have one. I will be in the "Cheering" section.

I just check the Morgan's Blog. The +4 is in the Garage (and it sounds like a good one) and they are going to work. Hopefully back on the road tomorrow afternoon. Not sure of the day. It is July 4th here in Seattle at about 3:00 PM Seattle time.

Morning in Seattle. Just checked the Morgan. They have been driving for 10 minutes. If it is a go, they have a nights drive to catch up in Minsk. With two drivers and good highways, it looks like they well make it. But they will be very tired.

They drove for about 10 minutes and stopped. Have not started again. It is late. Maybe taking a snooze.

I'm loving their wry sense of humour on the blog. But the suspense is killing me!

They have the engine in but are having clutch problems. According to their Blog they will check the clutch out tomorrow morning. Hope it is a simple adjustment.

I must be off a day. Because they are moving. Looks like they are at the Polish/Latvia border and heading South. It is night time for them. But they seem to be making good time.

Give the new rules for classics in Paris, will an exemption be made for them?
