Mulfab bearings make a huge difference to steering feel. Highly recommended.

hi Hugh any pic's of that part, just for be sure what is this part exactly Thanks

The old style/original hood looks cool but is a challenge to erect in a hurry due to having to 'build' it, poppers, press studs, detensioning levers etc etc. If you're good, perhaps 5 mins to complete although less if you just throw it up to keep dry.
With the new factory or after market easy up hoods you can be in the dry in seconds and with a good 'team', fully erect in a minute (oo er)!!!

I'm no IT guru, so hopefully someone else will put a couple of pics on for me

If there is a chance of rain I part fit my studded roof to the rear and fold it into the rear shelf area. If luggage in there then it covers it like a tonneau style. Fully fitting from there is fast and easy.....raise hoops and pull roof over, front lift the dots on......swivel pivots to tension.
thumbs
I prefer just using the tonneau cover but above works well with my everflex hood so no big problems in variable weather.

I have had all 3 hoods. Sospan is right putting up the standard hood is not difficult if you have the easy up swivel.

The Simmonds was the easiest the factory easy up is a bit of a fiddle
