I really like the traditional Brooklands aero screens - I've seen one car on the forum with them fitted and they look fabulous, although probably don't provide the same level of protection from the elements as the original equipment fitted.

I'd like to see a slightly wider screen that protects the drivers right hand , hopefully it would also divert that annoying stream of water that runs on to your leg in wet weather .

The Fairborne GT screen does protect the drivers outer hand & not noticed much water on my legs. They make a 5cm shorter GTS screen which I think does not extend outwards as much for the same price. My GT screen is made out of Lexan. Does anyone know if its OK to use rain beading treatments like RainEx or Diamondbrite Rainscreen on polycarbonate screens? Fairbourne could not answer & Daimondbrite did not respond. Tim

Could you test the products you mention on the old original screens maybe, since Fairbourne mention theirs are of the same material.

Had a quick look but can't find it - can anyone else help? From memory as well as being lower than standard Aero version, there was pronounced curvature close to centre each side as it met the lower? central support. This made it a halfway house between standard Fairbourne one and factory individuals. Looked neat. ETA: Just found it here

Old thread but reasons pro and con on the Fairbourne screen. It blocks the wind blast very well but on real hot days, like 90F, sticking your head around it is a help. Here is the only downside I have not heard mentioned, the tonneau cover does not fit well with it. MMC did not design the tonneau for the screen support. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/08/23/IMG_5359.jpg)

Hmmm - my tonneau doesnt reach the (Fairbourne) screen. But each tonneau is hand fitted / not interchangable so, as ever, YMMV
