You'd probably find you'd get a fast answer to an email query to SVC; their customer service is excellent and I've bought a few things from them. I have just used SVC on-line for the first time to get some replacement rear fog & reversing lights. Thought I would give them a try. I've used Holdens in the past with no issues.

I first used SVC for the brush plate for the Lucas wiper motor. Excellent service. They now deliver to Aus too

Make sure the PL700 lights come fitted with the Halogen H4 bulbs--not all reproductions do--some come with standard bulbs and the H4s will not fit.

Just driven back this evening from Williams..a mix of damp country lanes, lots of spray, M5 and fog nearer home. Argh!!!!!!!
There is a lot of light scatter from the lights, the beam is nowhere as controlled at the Wipac Quadroptics and when I hit the fog I really should have stopped and pulled over if I could have done safely. They look great and probably work ok on dry Summer nights but in Winter... a definite no no!

I had Tribars on the Gilbern Invader - didn't like to say earlier but they were rubbish in the dark.

A time when they are, perhaps, most useful? Think I'll leave the Quad Optics on 'Q', for the moment, but still likely to change to Cibie H180s at some stage... The Wipacs are now rather outdated by the Cibies.

The next time I find myself inadvertently looking at a young, leggy blond with an ample bosom, I'll remind myself of this thread and say to myself "Ah yes, but she probably can't cook!" Nonetheless, we will probably all lust after your Lucas Tribars the next time we meet up and see the Roadster in the flesh... err so to speak

They are quick to swop so I'll use my standard headlights during the winter and pop the Tribars on for summer I think.
Looking back to yesterday evening it was seriously scary...a blank wall of illuminated fog...luckily I was close to home and knew the road well and could feel the near side just running in the verge! So the Suplex doesn't take away any feel!!
What I didn't like was the plonker a couple of feet from my rear in a 4x4.
