I am really please with that. From time to time I have the (bad) idea of selling it but I cannot find a proper alternative.

Should you ever make the decision to sell....and I doubt you ever will because there isn't anything that could replace it....let me know. The colour and the leather make your car, to me, more desirable than any other car I have ever seen. I'd even move Traka on....(but don't tell my wife)

I will! But mine is LHD, I am not sure you would enjoy it. On the other hand a Plus8 with manual gearbox probably would be one of the choices I'd consider.

I'm used to "wrong" cars...we lived in Germany for 8 years and for the first 6 we had both LHR (Mercedes) and RHD (Alfa 33) cars. When we came back I brought my Mercedes E 250 estate with me and kept it for 3 years.
Only real problems are car park and toll booth machines when driving solo and overtaking if the car is low powered - which a Morgan Aero is not!
Tarka is an Auto, with paddle shift. I am not sure I'd take manual over auto after driving a manual S2 Aero.
If I was replacing Traka I'd order much the same car, but finished as yours, with black Aeromax wheels.

I'd take the manual just for sake of "old school" even if I never had any regret, until now, of the Aero auto gearbox. The weight of this car forgives anything.

Soooo beautiful! Keep the photos coming (and if you could ever find another car to replace that one, I'd like to see it!)

Assuming this to be mine (not meaning this in a defensive manner) what was your feel about the manual Peter. I know everyone dislikes the 1st gear-pause-2nd effect as well as the heavy floor based clutch but you learnt o drive around these quickly. With the combo of Auto Coupe and Manual Series 2 I quite like the mixture. Once moving the manual S2 is really involving and fun hence our final decision not to be able to sell it and damn the savings.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Alistair,
indeed..I've driven yours and one of the new S5 demmo cars with a manual shift.
I have to say that the new car - same box??- is an easier change and the clutch seemed more progressive than yours, but not a lot.
BUT compared with the new MX5 I took out it is slow, ponderous and clumsy. BMW can produce wonderful boxes, my son had a BMW 330CSi and that box, even after 100,000 miles, was a delight. But the installation in the Aeros isn't anything close and in that car, even the new S5, I'd have the paddle shift Auto.
I also have to say that the MX5 is a delightful little thing. Yes, it is as common as muck and cheap, but it distills everything good about the 1970s lightweight British sports car into a modern, easy to drive package. There is an ex demmo one in red 17 miles from me. £20K.
