Went up onto Bodmin Moor in glorious sunshine this afternoon and only encountered two tractors.
Cornwall in the middle of August?
It is all in the timing and everyone else (other than farmers) on the beach.

Maddresfield yesterday in Nero to watch cars being driven around a stick holding a piece of string, stopping on white lines and 24" from a post. Scintillating stuff!

A VERY short run to 'Morgans at Madresfield', and back home.
Hardly enough time to get the engine warm.

Haven't driven it but went to see it at the painters as dropped off some lovely new bits from Cain to be painted at the same time.
Car looks terrible rubbed down, still you have to go backwards to go forwards!

Drove over to Wellesbourne this lunchtime to have a coffee & last minute trip planning catchup. Soooooo overcast when I set off that I had a coat one, but just the opposite on the way home..! I am a true Red Head now..

Yesterday drove back to Essex from Falkirk via A68 A1 A14. Cracking day cracking drive the 4/4 making light work of the traffic. A68 is lovely with room to overtake the odd lorry or slow coach. & 45 mpg

Having fixed my broken grease nipple I did a 20 miles or so run over the Chilterns just to test all is working. Great fun in the sun.
