Morgans on the Dyno - TM Rolling Road Day

A few random photos from the Talk Morgan: Breakfast - Dyno - Lunch.

Thanks to Rich for planning the Rolling Road, Charlie of Surrey Rolling Road for putting our Morgans through their paces (some need some extra exercise more than others waiting ) and to the local pub for making us welcome.

A very enjoyable day and good to meet up with some regulars and also meet a new face (good to meet you Ray! thumbs ).

Also, an honourable mention to AsboJohn for taking my ribbing in such good humour. His new car is stunning hippy

Photos are in no particular order...

Rattles and prams! How very dare you. mad2 It's more than that. It's pride and bragging rights and fact and reality.......

Oh ok you're right on all points smile , but it would be so boring if we all just patted each other on the back all the time congratulating ourselves for everything being perfect. Come on GHLLG where would we be if I couldn't take the mickey out of:

Asbo's pink machine,
Aeromans aged outlook on life,
Simons ashtmatic 'Max,
Yuri's love for Vodka and dancing Girls,
Mr_Tony's Dyno-Rod special (see what I did there smile ),
DaveW and his neoprene,
Kin and his.... Well most things,
Shooter and his love for both dull dark colours And bizarrely bright psycadelic interior colours,
Frank for "Lellow"
Cerealsurfer for being so geeky in his knowledge of technical stuff
and
certain Welshmen for their lack of vowels.

Etc etc....

I mean it has been insinuated in certain posts that I may be ever so slightly rotund (clearly not true) but do I complain? No, ...... Well ok occasionally but only because in reality I am slim, lithe and svelte in figure.

Ok? Back as you were guys......

Merry Xmas to one and all laugh

A big wink BTW

Cheers

Merry Christmas Boshly!

Well it sounds like none of the others can match your 363bhp!

Two points taking the joking apart come to mind.

It's both reassuring and interesting to see that the S4 Aero's and Aeromax are all fairly consistent in terms of output. Probably down to BMW's efficiency!

Secondly IIRC does the S2 engine not owe a little bit more to motorsport than the initial and later engines. Would explain perhaps in terms of 'tunability' why your car has such a good output.

With best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010!

Robert

Boshers,,

Ok, I confess, I'm just jealous- and I agree, there's enough boring bits out there, so we need at all times to try and redress the balance- which I think this site does very well

On a different note, after not getting a copy when it was first published, I've just managed to acquire a copy of Chris Lawrence's 'Morgan Maverick' Some quite thought- provoking comments at times!

Cheers,
G

PS can you get vowels in the New Year sales?

Give me bucket loads of torque, starting low and going as far across the rev-range as possible.
Boring - possibly. Driveable, in today's conditions - absolutely! happy3 laugh2
