I think this is my favourite 80th 4/4

The 80th 4/4 is a very nice car .Im not a green person as many Mog owners are but this does look spot on .

I'm sure the same fix that you have on your +8 can be applied to a smaller Morgan.

Do you own S4 WMD? Essential if you are going to go down the serial Mog route?

Royal Blue body and hood, Black wings and wheels, light grey leather with blue piping....Mmmm!

I've seen a few two tone green 80ths going through the factory....they were a slow starter with Saxe Blue being the popular choice initially. I love the two tone.

I'm not a fan of the half bonnet straps. They are just a styling exercise and have no historical connection to the original car.....a pair of thin straps over the bonnet front and rear would look better and with traditional bonnet strap staples. The wheels I do like....they reflect the steel wheels the original had.

Nice colour combination.
I would prefer colour coded wheel nut.
I would prefer short leather buckle/straps replacing the chrome bonnet catches, this would add a discrete retro look to the car reflecting the fact it is a take on the anniversary. The straps that are there are trying too hard.
The rear numberplate needs lowering too.
Other than that the car is a good one.

I do love the colour combination. It 's nearly the same as my +4. Not so sure about the bonnet straps though. Indeed the wheels reflect the early ones.

It just doesn't look right without a spare wheel.

I don't like the bonnet straps. I like the brass wheel nuts & instrument bezels.
