Have landed in Fuenta De for the end of the day & currently having to drink beer in the sunset on the hotel terrace..
What a day for Morganeering. A nice 144 miles in almost 30 degrees sunshine through the Picos, no sidescreens (ok, just Wirewheel's..) and getting loads of waves, hoots and photo's.
Cars performing like the stars that they are & the Wingco's V6 sings a fabulous song along the valley.
Steve T has managed to announce our arrival by leaping the fence & using the shade of a tree to avoid a burst bladder, the rest of us walked a few yards to the cafe..

Captains log, in Fuenta De as Red One has said, a glorious driving day. Yes indeed I narrowly escaped an incident with a need to pee and nowhere to go.
Ian is turning out to be the dark horse of the party, as at almost every stop we make I turn round and he has a different woman in the passenger seat.. There seems to be no stopping him. Just a kindly "would you like to sit in my car for a photo" of course , but the women seem to be getting more attractive as the day went on.
And talking of attractiveness, we took the cable car to the top of the mountain here , lots of mountain goats and Jays seemed to be getting quite friendly with one of them, I'm sure it even smiled as he went to slap its ass in a real 'Wild Mogs" moment.
SBM Is keeping us all in check but does seem to be developing a certain jamminess for bagging the best rooms, his cabin on the boat had a window! And here his room has a balcony, they must be aware he deserves only the best.
And it's hot. We are all getting panda eyes from having to wear sunglasses driving, but loving every moment.
Must dash, time for drinkies and dinner.. All this Wild Mogging builds an appetite.

I trust you intend to visit the Cares Gorge. The easiest approach is from Cain de Valdeon. The N-621 from Potes over the Puerto de San Glorio is a super road.
