Thanks Hannes and a storm cover is a good idea, light and easy. I have a full, heavy, water-proof cover which luckily fits into the passenger footwell because G has short legs. But lovely legs, I hasten to add. A storm cover would be much easier.
250 mile run to Crooklands for Morgans at Windermere. Nice run through mid Wales as far as Wrexham then onto Motorways. Tomorrow will be a day of pisssistant rain so no plans made for a run yet. Sunday? Wait and see re weather. Monday return home via Bolton to see friends.

Think I passed you going in the opposite direction on the M6 around Preston
Saw four Mogs on the M6 going down to Coventy today which I assume were all going up to Windermere

A 90 km run along the Route des Artisans inland of L'ille Rousse. A curvaceous piece of tarmac if ever there was one but, having heard horror stories of Corsican roads, I'm pleasantly surprised. There was very little traffic, as many cyclists as cars, and a few well behaved bikers. Much of the route is above 1000 metres and there was quite a bit of second and third gear driving.
Highlight was being at eye level with a golden eagle. They suddenly float up beside the car as you run along a ridge and then soar off with 3,000 ft of air beneath them - and presumably lunch in sight. Magnificent.
I've tried to downsize these pics so they show in the post. In one The Navigator is getting her bearings at Col de la Battaglia. We are happy holiday-makers and tomorrow head further south down the coast, past Calvi to Ajaccio. The Morgan continues to entertain the locals.
225 mile run back from Caramulo to our overnight stop enroute to catch our ferry on Tuesday from Santander. First time I've driven in 40c heat with no hood or sidescreens or aircon! Thankfully wearing shorts. The bottles of much needed water were rather hot too. A couple of ice cold beers slipped down rather well when we arrived!
Jays Former Morgan owner. Gone but hopefully not forgotten!
Out doing errands around town today - possibly the most beautiful day of the year so far. First time driving the car since I took it apart over the Winter to replace the front suspension crossframe, shocks, and springs. A big improvement. Would have had it done in June but had to wait for one part to be shipped from the UK.
Already planning work to do over the coming Winter.
Fathers Day, what a beautiful day the second of a great weekend. Managed to clock up over 300km's in the two days, one with the wife, the other with the daughter. Up and around the Perth hills, two pub lunches in two days and then finished of with a couple of wines watching the sun go down over the ocean with my other daughter and family. Even got brave enough to take on a WRX STI and laughed when I received a thumbs up and photo from his Nonna in the passengers seat. All in all it wasn't only the car that gave me a smile this weekend.
