Exactly what I discovered too, regarding the speedo reading that is. One other small point is that it has effectively altered the drive ratio by a small but noticeable amount. It means holding it in the lower gears a fraction longer, or changing down, to get the same acceleration.

3% may not seem much but it does make a difference.
