Hmmmm. Sometimes when I hit the horn, the emergency blinkers turn on. Not a case of me clumsily bumping that switch as well, I made sure. I have to flip the blinkers on then back off to turn them off. Feature?

Nick, exactly the same thing happened to me for the first time on Sunday. I had to turn everything off and restart to stop it. Couldn't then replicate the issue. Just what is it with these "charming" machines. My car's coming up for two years old now and I was hoping most of the bad habits had come to light.

As you say, Feature?

If they blinked a couple of times then turned off that would be a fairly decent feature. Having to restart everything in your case not so much.

Went over 100 miles yesterday. I was surprised at how exhausted I was after. Even with foam earplugs my ears were ringing a bit. May need to get custom fit earplugs.

Took it on a mountain road that said no motorcycles allowed, full well ready to explain that this is an autocycle, but never actually saw anyone there, so I'll continue to ride on it until a park ranger complains

Had the hazard warning lights come on uncommanded two or three times when side lights were on. Cure was to turn to turn hazard switch on then off doh

Seems to have stopped doing this though confused2

You get used to driving distances, when I first got mine 20 miles seemed like a long way, the furthest I have done now in one day is 380 miles and apart from stopping for fuel was non stop.

It maybe worth trying some cheap silicon earplugs first - for me they block out much more noise than foam.

you can even exchange the noise-filter

I'll have to give them a try. May start with the silicone because the odd shape of my left ear cavity makes fitting ear plugs in difficult.

Anyone got any good resources for driving routes? There seem to be plenty of crowd sourced motorcycle scenic drive sites that rank routes by scenery, road smoothness, etc. not sure what the best one is, most are pretty bad for actually using on the phone though.

Choose the level of twists and turns:
Find the most exciting winding roads and avoid the boring straights. Select how challenging you want the route to be, and our motorcycle GPS will find the best road for you.

https://www.tomtom.com/en_us/drive/motorcycle/

tomtom proposes - you define ...
- little curvy, curvy, LOTS of curves.
- a bit hilly, hilly ..., MOUNTAINS.
- one way, return, etc.

really simple.

Don't know if this answers your question?

Well... if you buy a Garmin Zumo and use their proprietary routing software in the "scenic" mode on your computer ("Twisty Roads" function on the GPS itself sucks), you'll get the greatest routes EVER!!!
