Thanks for all of the nice comments. I have not had much chance to use it but am chuffed with it. This Sunday will be a real get to know you day

Now, where to secure that golf umbrella to stop the water getting in - seriously, I could get my finger through the gaps between the side windows & the hood. Not too much of an issue since I intend dry use only & the previous owner was sufficiently motivated to buy a hood cover. Really, though, my TR6 is submersible in comparison. Is stuffing a microfibe chamois in the gap the only real fix?

A lovely looking car.
You need Dave W's Neoprene waterproofing a car guide.
look up his previous posts, well worthwhile.

I can fit my finger through the back of the window by pushing the hood out of the way, but the gap isn't always there.

I will get a new hood at some point to really waterproof it, but as she stands I have never had any water ingress except when washing it. So I would imagine when driving it should be ok unless it's torrential rain. In which case I wouldn't want to be driving it laugh2
