Strangely enough, the chap who made my Morgan watch, Simon Michlmayr is featured in the Telegraph. I will be showing it at Salon QP on the Friday with Garrick ( but not all the time )
I hope to commission a new watch based on the Jaguar C Type rev counter using the regulator single hand style.

I'm impressed , good to know there are some classy Brit watches out there. I have the Telegraph watch supplement from last saturday.

just remembered about Timefactors that have revived the name Smiths for a few limited edition watches

their latest one is inspired from Smiths instrument dials

Not sure the smiths watch is more styling over function. Large watch with a small movement inside padded out by lots of plastic.

What's the considered verdict on this Zenith..? Not sure about the derivation, but I like the clean lines.

Nice idea. As no doubt you guessed the single hand style is something I find fascinating. I have known about the 6 hour single hand church clocks for some time (6 hours because you know if it is morning or afternoon, and at night you can't see the clock anyway smile )

Steve,

The Pilot watch style has been "in vogue" for a while now and is very popular due to it's retro look and the fact it is very easy to read.
I still prefer my Panerai. thumbs

I must admit I'm quite fascinated by the single hand watchs from MeisterSinger - especially the hand wound model - give me something to do in retirement in the mornings😁
