On MMC twitter feed they have just announced a deal with Christopher Ward watches to produce a range of Morgan themed watches in theory these should be senceably priced. Interesting Shame it seems just to aimed at the Three Wheeler mob. At least they haven't commissioned Matthew Humphries to do the watch!

There can't be too many more ways left now of re designing the watch!!
It's looked basically the same for hundreds of years now, because it works better that way. Don't get me wrong, I love watches, but, even I have now seen the light.
Like the Fender Strat, they got it right early and left it alone.
Rolex Submariner non date. Perfect.

You are absolutely wrong, creativity is endless A Cortina and a Veyron share the same point 4 wheels and an engine but seem's they are really different, right ?

Variations on a theme.
I don't think mechanical watch making has 'moved on', just continually refined what was done centuries ago. There have been developments, but every hundred years or so. Just making the case square or only having one hand doesn't seem very creative to me.
Motor cars are a similar. The endless creativity of modifying what has already been done. A Veyron, advanced as it is, can directly trace it's lineage back to the cars trying to get from London to Brighton tomorrow. As with a Cortina, they're different, but essentially the same…….!!!

Wow, that is certainly a variation on the theme. It is trying very hard to be different, I'm not sure it's very legible though.

Got to agree with that: stratocaster, submariner (n.d.) and - dare i say - an older Plus 8.
