I wonder if all the people who were so desperate for Britain to leave the EU are now feeling quite the same?
Always thought The House of Cards with Kevin Spacey was gripping but even the script writers never came up with anything to touch this. Yes still the same CANT WAIT TO LEAVE.

People once aligned to religion, it was used to manage the masses. You paid each sunday. It went on for centuries. Then they invented the printing press. It did not intrude into your life so much. It gave you hope and support. Then this was replaced by geographic boundaries. States managed your life and taxes and fought with other countries on your behalf. They took taxes. They were not so worried about you. This went on for quite some time. TV happened. (one way media:read only) Now we have the Internet and global commerce (Apple, Vodafone, Amazon all choosing to screw with the tax system) which ignores boundaries. It only wants your money. It has little interest in your health, morale, family or future. Culture is driven by anyones view being spread without filter or thought (just look at that picture of Kardassean and see how many people aspire to being her through follows). It has the attention span of 140 characters (tweet size for those loving trad owners  ) but to make up it shortens everything. Maybe languages will converge to txtspk and become common worldwide. I wish I had followed your bet Peter. I expected this to happen as well. Not meaning to put you off but it would feel like blood-money  Politics has lost it's trust, sheen, and thin veneer of style in this campaign. They allowed themselves to be limited to those two. It was the most negative campaign I have ever seen. Are they offering timeshare condo's on the moon yet ? Does it have any speed cameras ? There's always an upside somewhere. Well lets see what happens in France next then !

Waking up in Massachusetts stunned and sorely disappointed by the news. How stupid are the people of America! Now to see how much damage Trump can do before he is impeached. Goal 1: get him to release his tax records now election is over.

After Brexit and now Trump I hope that all politicians learn a lesson, GIVE the people what THEY want and NOT what you want.
