That was the point I was making, but then on the other hand, I do like modern Triumph motorcycles, and one could say the same thing about them.



And Triumphs are made outside the UK, too..!! There was a mass weeping & wailing of the great unwashed when that one surfaced.


...and the new Ducati Scrambler range is being built in Thailand too, just down the road from the Triumph factory.

I'm afraid that it looked to be much better made and finished than Morgan (just my opinion and only a superficial look) but not 70,000 better.

Having said that, if money was no object I would certainly look at one.

I rather like it. SBM and I were admiring it at the show. The car seems to be based on the Squire which was suppose to be the car that influenced the style of the first 4/4.

Aluminium over an ash frame? Very similar to a Morgan. It looks similar too. I don't understand people being sniffy about a Morgan - a Morgan is the real deal.

Nevertheless, the Atalanta is a pretty car.
