Welcome to TM any questions always answered after a fashion and sometimes with humour, this is a great information sharing site.

I bought my first Plus 8 from Richard 12 years ago and it was a pleasant experience and remained so for 20,000miles until I sold her.

Good luck with your searching and enjoy it thumbs.

Enjoy your quest.

BTW - When you visit Williams be careful of the spaniels - make eye contact and your carefully calculated budget could be completely blown.

David,

The mere fact that you have tried a Morgan then posted on this site means you are lost. Your best plan is to go to your favoured dealer and give in to the force.
You know it makes sense. thumbs

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Thanks
I think when I looked at my spec (which I seem to add to),probably have revised budget already upwards a few times!
Did try 4/4 new spec and suddenly realised nearly same as plus 4 with low mileage 2016 with high specs out there!
My wife didn't help as she has own ideas of what she thinks are nice colours .Monterey Blue looks great but that means metallic option and new !
Think I need to show her cars in the flesh ,which tend to look better than the photos

The onset of this bug can lead to sudden decisions. Ensure that you spend the first months choosing carefully so the long term effects are best felt.

The normal expectation that the lady is not going to like it should be tested for fact as mine actually paid 25% of the car we bought as she loved it so much. Still does.

Given the option of an Aero or a mostly modern 911 for handling I would go for the Aero every day. The Trads handle in a slightly more lively manner and the fun starts earlier. Its a benefit - less speeding tickets.

In most cases once people have bought a Mog they are not without one again. You may change models or move to a younger version but you tend not to be without one.

Assume you will need to spend a little in year one to get it "right" and add some personal things you will see on other peoples cars. Its a real benefit of the simple nature of them.

Welcome.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

My wife insisted I bought another Mog after she found out the main reason I bought the DB7 Volante was because it would be easier for her to get in.

Owning a Morgan reminds me of Apple Dependency Syndrome: once you have one device, all the others come along eventually, until you have the full set: phone, MAC, watch, POD etc .

By this I mean that once you have bought a Morgan, there is no escape, only therapy and lots of things to buy to make it look even better,go even faster, and sound more appropriate.

However, the therapy is wonderful: endless miles of pleasure.
And the wind is free; I mean the wind in your hair.
