Package arrived from Lionel today...shiney shiney beautiful piece of engineering. Octagonal center wire wheel removal tool. Lovely guy ..sent item for approval before payment !!! 40 pounds delivered..bargain !!!

Hi .. What is the octagonal nut remover made of and what does the other side look like ie how does one apply force ? On that question , how much force is needed , that's if one could use a torque wrench ?. I have wondered if hammering the eared spinners gives a tighter result than using a wrench/bar on the octagonal nut ?? Thanks Terry

Thanks Terry For the torque setting I use a 24" bar and stop at one click of my lower back.
